Xmas is a time for giving

HI crew

i am about to push the button on a set of new shoes for my beloved 1er, I have searched many posts on shoes - but Im not coming up with any specific answer to a fairly important reservation i have

Is anyone running the below combo and care to comment on issues around rubbing etc ? I will need to carry a 30kg passenger in the back most of the time.

225/35/19 and 255/30/19 my car is not lowered - So i am hoping it will be fine ?

Front Wheels: 19x8.5 ET +45
Rear Wheels: 19x9.5 ET +50

Thanks JD

That's my exact setup (except I have 235 front). It will rub a bit unless you get the guards rolled (especially with passengers in back). Also keep in mind different tyres have different shoulder profiles. For instance PSS have a very square shoulder and more likely to rub while Kumho ku39 have a very rounded shoulder.

You will be fine with those specs, they are proven to be ok for the E82.

Yes some tires will have a rounder side wall than others.

You'll be ok with those wheel specs and 235/35/19 Front, 255/30/19 Rear's.

^ Actually he's right, 225/35/19 would be better for fronts.
