BMW uses the word Boy racer. I think they should have googled this term before they publicly announced it. From WIKIPEDIA

Car magazine confirmed it will have 335 bhp - of course they could be wrong but i believe the actual figure will be a lot closer to this than 400bhp.

There is no possible rebuttel until the official specs are released- only opinion.

M1 will have 365 HP. How about the Nm I do not know, but I would say 460 Nm, what is quite little compared to + 520 Nm of a 360 HP chipped 135i. This mean BMW M did something to make this engine a true M engine.

Boy racer: it is different in japan. Boy racer is someone that makes illeagal races at night. (Not to mixe with "Fast and Furious", a cheap american film.)

What is with you and ragging on most things coming from the U.S.? First its American sports cars and now films? Are you aware that the vast majority of those on this forum live in the America?

Yes I know. Do not think I do not like america or americans. On the contrary I like. What just do not like, is the american cheap cinema, not the films you watch at the cinema, but on television, and I am not a fan of american cars, maybe because I live in europe, but I admit Corvette, Camaro, Mustang, Viper and Hummer are nice cars.

I understand. I wouldn't call it "cheap" in the sense of costs and amount of people watching them in the theater for their intended market. They are definitely "cheasy." Just a bunch of bad acting but people just watch them to see the car chases/cars anyway. Most of them cleared well over 100million dollars in the theaters.

Tell us how you really feel?

What is so primitive about it? Most U.S. highway speeds are 55mph. Its basically a simple of measurement of exactly how fast one can get up to highways speeds IMO. In reality I put more weight into the 5-60mph times that some magazines publish. They sometimes tend to differ greatly than the 0 to 60mph.

That's the poser mobile from the t mobile (?) commercials a few years back

I always though of boy racers as the sti/evo crowd. Cars that are really fast but appeal to a very young demographic.

What that wiki entry described was the ricer. Which is not a boy racer IMO
