Guys,
My brother has an 2012 135i n55 with 28kmiles he just bought couple months ago. Still has factory warranty left till September. Car had issues were it would randomly turn off at low rpms out of nowhere. Dealer fixed issue never happened again. He bought a bms intake for it, car is otherwise stock. now car shuts off sometimes and throws a cel. Took intake off brought it to the dealer, faulty intake pressure switch and hpfp. Picked up car ran fine put intake back on and after 15miles same issue as before. Planning on getting cel read tomorrow but you guys have any idea what could cause this? Thanks for any input. |

The BMS intake made my stock turbo n55 run like crap and I took it off.
Its on again with the Pure stage 2 and runs okay but a little rough during warm-up. Just go back to stock unless you upgrade the turbo. My car was actually faster with the stock box. |

It's not the intake.
Bmw replaced camshaft, head and other things. Car was in the shop for 2 weeks and tech drove it for 100miles. He finally picked it up Friday about 5miles from the dealer he had the loudest whining/howling noise I've ever heard on a car. Brought car back again, now there replacing turbos.... To me it seems like there just replacing stuff left and right now. Anyone has any knowledge of lemon lime law ? I know it's a used car but it has still factory warranty. Car has been in the shop for over a month all together now. Any help be appreciate it. |
