I highly doubt it haha. That's a bit out of my comfort zone. Might try and take the rear arches off and possibly weld the new inner arches in, that would cut shop time down a good bit. But would prefer a shop install the rear quarter panel and paint.

M3 rear is up. Hopefully Wednesday I'll get the Swift Springs and Ohlins installed and be done with the rear.

Finally done with the rear. Just need to bleed the brakes when I start working on the front end. Set the TC Kline Rear Ride Height Adjusters close to stock ride height, will probably have to adjust it in the future after a couple drives.
Also starting to mockup and figure out the M2/135i hybrid diffuser. Should be fun to build.

Delayed a few days waiting for the new brake bleeder that snapped off. Starting work on the Diffuser, going to need to fill in a few spots with body filler and paint for it to look OEM'ish in my eyes.

You definitely got some skills, with all you've done to your 1er.
Looking forward to seeing the finished product.

Finally got the brakes squared away after two weeks messing with them.
Took it for a short drive. Everything felt good and as far as I can tell it was a successful install of the suspension. Didn't take it above 50 due to the alignment being out of whack. Probably going to drive it out to the only dealer in DE to align it and have the air bag replaced while Im there.

Almost done with the diffuser. Some imperfections to sand out and then paint. So far it's coming out better than expected.

Man I can't wait to see everything together. Your interior combined with the 1M exterior is going to be beautiful! You'll have to make the long haul to Katie's Cars & Coffee in Great Falls VA when it's done!

Sure thing! Interior is still my favorite part. Trying to figure out if the new M2 Comp seats with orange stitching could work in our cars.

Didn't get to paint. Had to do another round of sanding on the diffuser.
Did get around to doing a four wheel alignment. Car drives amazing now.

Decided to stop chasing perfection so I can drive the car. Base coat on. Contemplating leaving it flat or using satin clear coat.

Ouch what happened to the paint? Just didn't adhere well enough? I love the look otherwise, looks like it just needs to be cleaned up and the tips adjusted to fit better.
