Liking your Artic Metallic?

For those who have already taken delivery of your e90 in Artic...how do you like life with this color? Comment, regrets?

I really like it. Wife might have liked the darker green color, but was in no mood to wait that long. I'm still not sure what color arctic is

if I try to describe to someone else.

Cool! Describing it can be tough...silver bluish-->silver--> baby blue-->geenish-->silver blue??!!

When I describe it to someone, I use the words someone on one of the boards who saw it a couple of months ago in the UK used, pearlescent, can look either grey, light blue or light green depending on the lighting.

Am looking forward to picking mine up 9 days from now...

IMO it is a little girly sometimes when the light hits it. Not sure AW is mans color either. lol AW on order.

I have a grey/green e46 right now and haven't yet seen the Arctic. Since grey/green is no longer offered I've been thinking about this as a replacement. Any comments to that would be appreciated.

I'm not getting Arctic but now that I've seen several cars in this color it has really grown on me. It has the same good qualities of silver (light, doesn't show dirt.) It's an interesting color. My favorite is when it looks slightly blue--very cool. Also like it when it looks grey. But most of the time it looks light grey-green. Also nice but not my favorite. I've also noticed that Artic looks great from an angle with the 162s. Especially when it's moving. Really shines in the bright sun. I haven't seen this yet, but I would guess that artic looks really good with grey leather and aluminum trim.

everytime i see an arctic bmw e90 i love it more and more and i just cant wait to get my e90 320d arctic, beige interior dakota 162 alloys, xenon lights, pdc rear, lumbar, professional radio, hifi speakers and expecting delivery end of august

I've had my Arctic for 5 weeks and, honestly, still have mixed feelings re: this color. After I ordered it, saw the Titanium at the dealer and thought "wow! maybe I made a mistake with the Arctic." Somedays I love it, others not so sure. It really is hard to describe since it changes colors depending on the light. In the garage, it looks fairly blue. In setting sunshine, looks more grey-green, sometimes real silverish in bright sun. Mine is 330 with ZSP, ZPP, black leather and aluminum trim.

Sorry to hear that you're still so-so on the color psyran.

I love my Arctic car! I absolutely love this color. It it blue-ish most of the time which I like, and its also a pretty unique color. I get compliments on it all the time and I've only had the car a week.

I'm sure not everybody likes it but I wouldn't have my car in any other color. Well if there was no Arctic I might do TiAg or Alpine or any other color as long as I get to drive it haha

I love the color - although I was unsure at first. When I first saw it at the dealer it looked very turquoise, which I wasn't sure about. After looking at it for a little while it dawned on me that the car was sitting on some purplish paving stones. I asked to drive it over on the concrete in the lot and the color totally changed. It looked very blue.

This is what I think is the coolest about Artic. Depending on the time of day, surroundings, etc. it can look very different.

Here are some pictures from my European Delivery. Notice how the color does shift between them. Now, if my car would just hurry up and get here...

WOW - great pics, where are they at? I also recently did an ED, picked up my Arctic 325i on June 22, dropped it off in Paris July 5. Saw Salzburg, St. Moritz, Milan, Nice, Avignon, Dijon and Versailles in between. That first pic looks kind of like Salzburg, which I wish I'd had more time to see. I have a couple of good car pics between Nice and Monte Carlo, which I have yet to upload from my camara because of computer issues I'm having at home, but not as nice as these. I'm jealous!

By the way, I love my color

. Can't wait for redelivery here in CA.
