What is up with the Rampenfest thing? How long has this been out there?
Is it some type of legitimate marketing campaign of the town of Oberpfaffelbachen to promote tourism (even if obviously meant to be silly)? The entire thing is brilliant. Spend some time on the website if you haven't already done so, and look at everything on there, especially the part about the history of the town. Absolutely brilliant, and hilarious! And yes, I think we need to make some t shirts or stickers for our 1ers. Something. This Rampenfest is gonna quickly have a cult like following. |

Schumi, it's a fake town, fake website, and doctored videos for the purpose of 1 series marketing for the North American market.
It is a brilliant marketing campaign though. |

Thanks Larry for clarification!
Have any of these video clips been aired as TV commercials? I'm just wondering how anyone has caught wind of the website. The whole thing is so obtuse....I love it! |
