Best Summer non-rft street tire?

in the 225/40/18 255/35/18 size category. I have my eyes on the Dunlop Direzzas... price reasonable and looks to have excellent dry traction although price not a consideration. All I care about is getting the power to the ground in a tuned 135i 6MT in a straight line on a daily basis. I need to bake the RFTs to get anything resembling traction, regardless of weather.

Pilot Sport PS2s FTW the rears lasted over 17K miles...even with my auto-xing.
