BTW, if anyone wants to have extra security on the E90, PM me.
I know a way , costs $1000-$1500.

I would think the No. 2 suspect looks more likely:mad:

t,

Config. for 320i/323i:
Front - 4" X 2
Rear - 4" X 2
Woofer - 6.5" X 2 under the seat

Config. for 325i/330i with Hi-Fi Speaker Package
Front - 4" X 2 (Door Panel) + 1" X 2 Tweeter @A-pillar
Rear - 4" X 2 + 1" X 2 Tweeter on the shelf under rear window
Woofer - 8" X 2 under the seat

I have only replaced all the 4" in the front and rear:
Model: DLS 424 2-way Coxial Speaker with separate corss-over box
Cost: 1500/pair ==> 3000 for four

Since 325i/330i has 2 addtional stock tweeters, selection of speakers might be different.

As I have not touched the woofer under the seat, the above spec. are told by some guys in this forum outside HK.

Does it 325i really has a 8" woofer under the seats? Doesn't really sound like it...

kelvinso, did you change your speakers by yourself?

Do you mean factory bi-xenon or aftermarket HID xenon kits?

Hi guys,
have been away for a while! my back pain has been killing me these days. But after seeing you guy's enthusiasm i can't help but write....you guys have been both wonderful & evil.

Wonderful that you guys are truly fanatic. Evil that always discussing changing this & that. C'on...mods take lots of $$$. i'm officially saving for my E90 M3. i'll try to address some of the points you all 've gone through.

But first a warm welcome to RikuE90, Ksquare & Woo!

E90 touring is only 20k plus, in comparison w/ E90 sedan. & they're made in Germany, if that matters to you.

RikuE90, i'm w/ you on the fight w/ Simedarby HK. Someone in E90 was contacted by BMW Corporate becoz he's posted a complaint. I believe you should post to the main board to find out the contact in BMW Germany. I'm sure someone knows that.

Zaino does not ship outside the US, i'm buying from Cobra Seats in the UK. Whoever is interested in Zaino, let me know. I'm not a self-fish guy, i can give you guys some free "samples" to find out if it's worth every penny.

I'm planning to do 9 layers after hearing Patrick's suggestion.

Anyone hears any reivew on Sach's suspension?

The E90 hi-fi system isn't that bad at all. i think it's even better that of Mark Levinson in Lexus. Changing speakers is a quick-fix; changing the whole thing will be a thorough solution. Anyone knows any reliable hi-fi shop? i'm thinking of McIntosh system so that i can listen to the 1812 canon's sound.

Not sure if i spell this right? Having nitrogen injected into the tires would help. I have 38 on my 18 rims. The result is so conspicuous that even my mum noticed the difference - so much quieter.

As far as fuel consumption is concerned, mine averages at around 9-10l/100. Today, it's showing 8.2. I do occasional spirited driving in Lung Cheong Rd. The ECU adopts to yr driving style, so one in a while you have to stretch the E90's legs.

The Caltex CleanPower - $99/bottle - does help!

Hi Sunny,

thanks man for your support!

Sounds like you love "powerful" classical music. Are you a Hifi lover? I found the Hifi in my 325i is not giving a clear focus sound. Maybe it isn't been fully run-in yet or I got used to my home hifi setup......will give it some more time before judging.

Take good care of your back!

9 layers of Zaino??? You must be kidding. That'll take you days and certainly kill your back! Good excuse to go for a massage after that

Hi guys, thx for the support!!! well it's no secret, i've posted here before. I let the car warm up a little 15 seconds usually, then for the first 2-3 minutes i'll leave the window open & turn off the A/C. After 2-3 minutes & over 80/km, i'll turn on the A/C.

At first, i just drive & go w/o warming it up. But then i found if i didn't warm my car a bit in the morning, the 1st gear takes so much longer to shift to 2nd gear. The engine is kindof screaming. I don't have the same thing now with that 15 sec warm-up, c if it works for you.

I usually travel at a constant speed, so there i go!

hmm.....not really a hi-fi lover but a music lover. No car (even Lexus GS & LS) can compare to yr home's hi-fi. It's takes tons of sound-deafening materials PLUS the car is running.

Yeah the E90 hi-fi really takes some time to break-in. In fact, you have to "blast"/"bomb" it for quite some time. First, try w/ the Ondekoza (not sure if i spell it right -- the Japanese big big drum) followed by violin then vocals - i suggest the three tenors. Don't get rid of the stock system yet, give it sometime to prove itself.

i know it's completely insane - 9 layers of Zaino. Just say that i take the advice from Patrick and that with a shinier body i hope i can hide the damages made by the stone chips!!! my poor bimmer. I just so hate Lung Cheong Rd!

Cheers guy!

Hi sunny , see my lines below

have been away for a while! my back pain has been killing me these days. But after seeing you guy's enthusiasm i can't help but write....you guys have been both wonderful & evil.

==== let me know if need a (spiral nerves) specialist , my wife goes quite regularly. I m gonna see him soon too. Hope that's not the seats of E90 caused that to us

Wonderful that you guys are truly fanatic. Evil that always discussing changing this & that. C'on...mods take lots of $$$. i'm officially saving for my E90 M3. i'll try to address some of the points you all 've gone through.

==== i am jealous and I am curious if you would mod your M3 E90 too

RikuE90, i'm w/ you on the fight w/ Simedarby HK. Someone in E90 was contacted by BMW Corporate becoz he's posted a complaint. I believe you should post to the main board to find out the contact in BMW Germany. I'm sure someone knows that.

==== I fully support this act.

Zaino does not ship outside the US, i'm buying from Cobra Seats in the UK. Whoever is interested in Zaino, let me know. I'm not a self-fish guy, i can give you guys some free "samples" to find out if it's worth every penny.

==== count me in a sample

I'm planning to do 9 layers after hearing Patrick's suggestion.

==== will that be sensible if I hire someone to do it . my old back pain is back since we started to wash e90 by self

Anyone hears any reivew on Sach's suspension?

==== yes, I want to know . Last time I went to MK and the shop said they dont have the E90 one in stock

==== The E90 hi-fi system isn't that bad at all. i think it's even better that of Mark Levinson in Lexus. Changing speakers is a quick-fix; changing the whole thing will be a thorough solution. Anyone knows any reliable hi-fi shop? i'm thinking of McIntosh system so that i can listen to the 1812 canon's sound.

==== school friend of mine runs a small garage near shamshipoo only to do audio , wanna try? I never got the chance to ask him doing it. It seems he does very expensive systems e.g. 300K one. We can talk to him together see if you like his style.

Not sure if i spell this right? Having nitrogen injected into the tires would help. I have 38 on my 18 rims. The result is so conspicuous that even my mum noticed the difference - so much quieter.

==== I started with nitrogen but wont tell the difference after I replaced them with fresh air

As far as fuel consumption is concerned, mine averages at around 9-10l/100. Today, it's showing 8.2. I do occasional spirited driving in Lung Cheong Rd. The ECU adopts to yr driving style, so one in a while you have to stretch the E90's legs.

==== (RD) have you tried the 'procedure' on e90?

The Caltex CleanPower - $99/bottle - does help

==== where do you fill it into
