it's actually a factory option isn't it?

mine was debadged either way, before i even got it. good times with everyone thinking i'm in a 120i or something (or a general slow crappy hatchback) with a bigger exhaust ;D

Not really, mine came with the 135i Badge.
Debadge makes it look more cool on the road.

Yes. It is. It's called Model Designation Deletion and can be specified when doing a factory order.

You can also get the dealer to remove it if you're buying a car "off the lot".

Those matt colours are all the rage these days.
You're buggered though keeping them clean, especially wrt bug splatter.

If he was going to spend that much on the bespoke ///M Hyundai, maybe he should have bought a roll of glad wrap to make a car bras as well.
