New winter tires, good deal?

Hey guys, I'm planning to throw some winter rubber on and got these quotes. What do you think?

Bridgestone Blizzak WS60 $1070/set installed + tax
Michelin X-Ice $1080/set installed + tax
Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3 $1280/set installed + tax

Thanks

they're all good

Can't go wrong with any of the three but I would go with either Blizzack or the X ice.

I think they dont get much snow in Vancouver... True snow tires would overkill?! I would vote for PA3... Wonder why u dont consider 17" on separate set? U dont have to pay to swap every season change

Why not the PA3's? I've read good things and seem to have a pretty good tread life... actually planning on pick up the PA3's myself.

Can always compare the prices with tirerack, shipping is usually <100(to point roberts) and about another 100 for mount/balance locally

Went with the Michelin Pilot Alpin PA3, just got them installed today.

I was planning on getting a new summer set (tire and rims).

Did you end up picking them up?

Price isn't too off and I had to pick them up locally. Have you thrown on a winter set yet?

Hey guys, got 225/40/18 Michelin Pilot PA3 installed for the last month and so far they have been great in the rain. Handling is better then the run flats. Cornering about the same unless you push it due to the softer side wall. Ride is more comfortable. I'll have more of a review when we get some snow.

Looking to come skiing in BC, how is the snow? Not much in Colorado or California this season so far!
