All black 1 series coupe?

I am guessing someone will have done it but are there any pictures knocking about of an all black styled 1 series coupe?

Black rims and kidney grille etc?

I also love the Alpine white on black rims look.

Just after a few ideas should I change my mind on the 3 series I have had my eye on...

Thanks

here's my 2011 m-sport. I do have the black kidneys, but not when these pics were taken. I love this look. not quite "murdered" but black enough. LOVE this car.

Here is my all black 128i. 50% sides, 35% back window tints. I actually prefer the chrome around the windows and grill...it really sets them off visually and breaks up the black! I also really like the redesigned front bumper of the 2012. and yes, its a manual and drives like a dream!

embarrassed to say I don't remember!! They had about four different tints at the dealership where i bought (i guess a third party worked out of the dealership?) . Mine was the second most dark. I pretty sure it borders on illegality here in NY but i've never had a problem with the fuzz.

All black cars or blacked out tint? I think black rims/paint looks mean, not cheap? maybe its a new york thing
I don't think you are thread jacking...guy asked for pics of blacked out cars and there are two pic replies in 6 responses...

to TS....check out the photos section..i'm pretty sure there is few threads with what you are looking for...search for"murdered" or " all black"..or just scroll through the large general pic section...i'm sure you will find some ideas.

black wheels, black/black, murdered all look cheap and aftermarket. i grew up in new york and its not a new york thing.. just a common modding aesthetic. then again i was guilty of having a skin fade and north face gear

but nooooo don't do white/black. your wheels will never show in pictures!!

Okaaay...this thread turned akward really quickly. Someone asked for black on black picts and next thing you know multiple people who have zero grammar skills start hating...weird?

Anyway.......if I may articulate it properly, all blacked out everything can def look cheap and aftermarket. Thats why I think the chrome on the windows and grill do a great job of breaking it up. Also, my black wheels are my winter setup.. . I have slilver wheels for the summer

I guess it did! I do like that chrome on yours. I understand what some of the others are saying. I do see a few ricers around here with the poorly blacked out taillights and everything looks "overdone". Mine is indeed all black interior with the metal trim, sapphire metallic black , black rims and kidneys. I think it looks super clean and mean. Plus, I'm an old school metalhead...I like black...oh well.
The word "cheap" doesn't come to mind, and I regularly get compliments from young and old alike, men and women.
Diff strokes for diff folks. Some people don't know the old adage.."if you have nothing nice to say..."
What happened to OP?

Early on in this site, for sure "murdered out", all black with red accents such as red interior and red wheel accents, and black wheels on alpine white were about equally distributed as the most common setups. It's interesting that you don't see very many new modders doing any of those setups. My car is one of the few full modded blk on blk but with chromeline trim and polished wheels.

Wow I love the look of the black on black with the chrome...looks great! I have a 2011 128i and am actually considering going for that look! Simple but elegant!

These blacked out cars look great!

My 135 is Black Saphire, I have Anthracite Apex wheels, carbon fiber diffuser, carbon trunk spoiler (should be here today or tomorrow), and very soon I'm getting my wondows tinted.

After seeing these pics of other's cars I've decided to do the window tinting. Apparently it also helps with keeping the heat down inside the car on hot days.
