Vid from this past weekend

Summit Point Main with nasa...this is my last session of the weekend. Cut it short as my brake pads disappeared in the middle of the session. Note to self. Cool carbon pads are great if you're learning for HPDE...but once you get passed the novice stages you'll need race pads as you get to the advance group lol

You know I sent the registrar an email with my questions and they still haven't got back with me. I'm thinking of doing sat only since I have my own timing device. How many sessions on sat?

No clue how he did that...just saw him hitting the wall. My view was blocked by the other cars in front of me. There was one animal incident. Saturday on our first session, on our first hotlap. Deer ran in from outside the track as the lead car was coming around turn 4 and hit the side of his car. Deer died instantly. Did quite a bit of damage to a track prepped exige. Busted windshield, and cracked every fiberglass panel on the drivers side. Also be aware it was damn cold there in the morning. First session of the day was only 30 degrees and by the time we went out it was only like 35. Few people had issues with grip b/c of the temps.

ON saturday its open Time trial practice.. If i recall they group you but stagger your starts ( alot of guys use it for test and tune)

On sunday its specific.. red-student group / white group ( intermediate) / blue group ( advanced) /

sunday is the real deal.. much more controlled.

They are very good with there schedueling and organization.. if it falls behind they do there best to make it up..

thats why its such a good deal for both days for 300.00 as opposed for 1 day for 200.00

p.s. me and my buddy are working the night enduro as flaggers ( we get credit for volunteering)

Btw - were you parked behind the lot towards the trees, with a G37 and Jetta?

Ha, I was in the Z4 coupe parked right next to you guys. It was my 2nd time at Summit so got the approval for solo on day 2. Your friend in the G37 was group 1 right? I have a vid of him in front of me, that car was pretty fast, him and the 5.0 were the only 2 cars I could not pass!

Mind uploading the vid and giving me a link? I'm sure he'd love to get a copy of it He has his moments of being a decent driver. Known the guy for about 8 years now. He likes to talk a lil boastful about how fast he is compared to the other drivers in his group, then Mark (the jetta) and I have to remind him he's still 2 seconds off marks pace and 4-5 seconds a lap off mine haha. Damn Infiniti drivers...i swear!

He was still racing on his way home. I was behind two slow cars on that little 2 lane road to Charles Town, and he was behind me - about two feet behind. After ten minutes or so, he finally couldn't stand it anymore and blew by all three of us in a no-passing zone. Free at last!!
