Yeah I think mine is Sept build...not a 1 series though but still a BMW. Actually I could be Oct build.

I got Monte Carlo Blue (the one you see in all the pics), with bamboo beige interior and piano black trim for now. I may change to silverstone interior. In terms of spec, X5M comes with everything under the sun already pretty much, so things like head up display, Adaptive Drive, DPC etc etc already comes standard, as is of course things like active xenon, rear camera, nav etc etc. So the cost option list only has like 5 or 6 items, similar to my C63. I opted for leather dash (expensive but worth it I reckon, looks so much nicer!), and rear privacy glass (really dark glass from B-pillar).

I had an M3 E92 in this week with bamboo, i wonder if the X5M will be the same or a variant. I'm looking forward to driving the beast. I drove a new 750 today, bloody large but wow.I hope the X5M gives me the wow factor i think it will.

P.S I put your 135i into storage for a while until the new parts come.

saw this on drag times. Its an X6m but is similar to sze and weight of the X5M, going to be a pretty quick car!!

Actually the X5M and X6M are identical in weight (and drivetrain obviously). But X6M has better aerodynamics so may have better drag times lol. Reviews on the X6M hasn't been great even though they all acknowledge what a fast car it is, but most of them talk about it's relevance and track performance (it's a 2.3 ton truck ffs!). I think X5M may be seen as a bit more relevant as it is a proper SUV that seats 5 in comfort and has a massive boot as opposed to a 4 seater that has little head room in the rear.

Correct, x5m much more practical and better value for money than the x6 variant.
They are a good size car with plenty of room especially with kids stuff.
