Sounds like the 1 now has the same screen as the 3 series, wide and can be spilt. The other thing the 1 misses is the tuner which is standard with the 3, $4 grand and no tuner pffffft! Don't tell us it has a tuner as well

i got the 09 idrive with bus nav.. and i cant split my screen its the same as the old idrive.. just that its not a folding screen anymore.. the extra area just gets fitted with placstic..(screen size same as old bus nav) got the new buttons tho... =)

No it does not have a tuner. I guess they figured 1 owners would be too busy actually driving to worry about TV. Nav Pro has also gone up recently another $850 to $5K as BMW has put up the price on most options for the 1 since I ordered mine back in July.
