Carly Exhaust Flap Control ?

So I just noticed that the Carly App now has exhaust flap control. It lets you turn it on and off as you want.

I haven't tried it yet. Just wondering if anyone else saw this and/ or tried it out.

Ooohhh that's dope! I've always wanted to do the golf tee mod but I've been too lazy. Good thing I waited

As far as I know, this only stays on if you keep your phone plugged in. I didn't do the golf tee mod. I just unplugged the module in the back. Took me about 2 minutes.

I don't think it works with our cars. least every time I've tried it has said something about not being supported.

It works, but I believe you need the V2 adapter for the correct connection. Also you do need to have the app connected for this to function. When you disconnect it will go back to stock operation. Easiest way to do this mod is still the golf tee mod or unplug the connection in the trunk.

I noticed this too, but I have the latest adapter and last time I checked, it didn't work on my car. I'll check again tomorrow...

I did the same. It's a 10 min job start to finish going slow.

I eventually put it back to stock by plugging it back in b/c with the DCT at moderately slow freeway speeds there was a bit of drone at 2000-2300 rpm which it was at almost all the time cruising.

I tried the flap control today. Carly said it was not supported on my car. Maybe something to do with being vacuum controlled/operated?

Does the 128i have a flapper valve on the exhaust?

It does, and it is the cause of a very annoying rattle...

Mine would never last, would have been kicked too many times getting in and out?

We have no sport button, we have to put it in m/s and that's the closest to sport that we get. It does not keep the exhaust flap open. Carly with v1 or v2 adapter does NOT work on 1 series vehicles.

Pretty sure this function works on my parents' F10. Thing is so quiet either way I had a hard time seeing if it actually did anything.
