Weird...

Just to be truthful though.... I used to shoot with a Nikon D80, it wasn't bad at all. A lot of my popular shots were shot with it. I think the most critical thing to note was I was constantly improving and challenging myself photography-wise. It come to the point where I knew how to use my Nikon D80 in my sleep and I know what all the function did. In the meantime I learned how to post process better and better. I learned what worked and what didn't. After that it was just coincidental that I upgraded to a Nikon D700. I seriously wanted it just for it's full frame abilities. I would still say it's 70% shooter and 30% camera. I do this for a living and at work I use a beginners DSLR and I still have my job and get compliments

ok, i understand, but in i want to do a big step, with de lumix i was learning(now i have a little experiencie), now I want a good camera for a long time without having to change, I also thought the canon 5D (like you en nikon D700) for the full frame... certainly have full frame the canon 7D? the next step is improve in fotoshop, I was experimenting with different styles, which I like the most natural way possible, with a touch of sparkle.

sorry for mi english is realy bad...

I am thinking you for your level you should just go for maybe Canon 60D or a Nikon D7000 (if you want a Magnesium body)....the only reason I say a 550D is that for the features and what you said you want to do it is the best "bang for buck" right now (good price)...paired with some good glass you can take pics rivalling the 60D or the D7000
(none of the camera's I mentioned are FF..they are APS-C).

@others: 50% user, 30% lens, 20% post-processing (the first two take a lot out of the third if done properly)

@JZ: Do you think the better quality is worth the money for it seems like his skill level at this time? He will buy what he wants of course, but why "waste" (not really wasting but for lack of a better word at this time) the money on a 7D when he could get the D7000, 550D, or 60D and use the money he saved (~$600) on a decent fast walk-around lens?

It really is up to the user, but yes you do have a point

thnks for the opinions... few more opinions better.

now i think you have the reazon... a 60D with a better lens is the best option, but i think in 5D or 7D only just to have a good machine for a long time and not outdated ina short period of time...

oouuu another thing... we seem the only people on th forum, practically only we talk ajajaja
