I heard the announcer for them as we were driving by. we drove down another half a mile or so though because that was the only place we could find to park. we'll have to meet up sometime though for sure. do you live around houston or galveston?

I am in Houston. If you look around my site you will find a lot of images shot at art gallery openings around town and only a bit from Galveston. The specs on your car, what a beast!

Ah very cool. Are there any local clubs worth joining or meet ups that you attend?
And my car would be nice...if it wasn't slower than my friends completely stock 135i with just a jb4. something is wrong and im about 800 dollars into diagnostics and i still haven't found out whats wrong yet. going to try switching to cobb and see what happens lol. |

I can't really answer about the PPK because the car is not yet broken in. I will be able to compare it to my memory of a 2011 135i with DCT and no PPK that had almost 8k miles on it. In the rpm range up to 4500 the car with PPK feels stronger, even though the motor has not had a chance to loosen up yet. I strongly suspect BMW puts some limits in the DME until the car reaches 1200 miles and these limits go beyond locking out launch control.
