Rear feels like it is trying to skip or jump through curves at speed.
I recently bought a set of Apex ARC-8's and I had MPSS installed on them. I am running 235/40 on the fronts and 265/35 on the rears.
I have the BMW Performance suspension and I pulled the strut alighment PIN before I had my alignment done. I have about .80 degrees of negative camber on both sides of the front and the rears are in spec. When I go around curves at high speed it feels like the back of the car is trying to skip or jump through the curve. It almost feels like the extra grip that I am getting from the larger MPSS is causing this. Any ideas? Last edited by Lambobimmer; 08-26-2011 at 04:21 AM.. |

Did I hear skipping with Arc-8's and MPSS... sounds eerily familiar...
Just uploaded this from last weekend: Same situation, but I also had a blown rear shock. |

What does 'MPSS' mean?

It's probably the rear subframe bushings are just bouncing around more now that their is less forgiveness in the rest of your suspension. Also could be too much bump dampening in the dampers, but it's most likely the bushings.
