n55's diverter valve sounds like that. you can even hear some bov-like sound with stock airbox. intake just amplifies that sound by 10x.

Well im not into the bov sound ,but I like the tone of the stock exhaust ..j might have to take out my stock cats for a set of resonators .Do you have drone on the hwy?

Does that air sound have anything to do with Stage 2 controlling boost differently or is it mostly the intake? I've got catless downpipes and a stage 1 and it doesn't sound anything like that.

The bov is coming from the addition of the intake. Most of the spool is coming from the dp.
Do not confuse my setup with your n54 twin turbo you will not get the same results. |

It sounds great. I figured the intake was making the the diverter valve noticable louder in sound. The catless dp will make it sound completely different even running it through a stock catback exhaust.
