Ground Control Camber plates

Are these Ground Control camber plates installed correctly? I ask because the front is considerably lowere than it was before the install. I do have the BMW PS installed.

This image should lead you in the right direction. It looks as though you are possibly are 26mm lower than with previously install factory strut mounts. Note - this speculates you have the same camber plate as shown.

So I have to ask, would the Dinan plates raise the front back up 26mm? It's just too low running 245's on the front. They rub the plastic front bumber on sharp dips. Otherwise, I must say the handling now with the full M3 gear and the PS is unreal. I can take my favorite turns 25 mph faster and the car just sticks! It's a whole nother level of performance.

Going back to the standard tops with the dinan plates will raise your front height by 6mm.

i have the GC street plates on my 3er along with Bmw perf suspension v1. My ride height is now about a quarter inch lower. If it helps, I can post side by side pics of the camber plates vs. oem top hats. The stack height of the camber plate is slightly lower than the top hat perch combo. Also, the strut shaft appears to sit higher at rest relative to the strut body, compared to the top hat setup.

This diagram may not be applicable to OP since fe1rx went with coilover springs and a coilover spring perch and made modifications to the components of his GC plates. I'm thinking OP has the GC upper spring perch designed for "sport springs" such as the BMW PS yellows(?).

OP, if in doubt, just measure your ride height and compare to what factory is supposed to be.

Pics seem right. Front ride height is too low with the BMW PS. Is there a way to insert a bushing or something to raise the ride height? Really need just a half inch. Great for the track, but doesn't work for the street. Rub too much on the fender connection with the front bumbler.

Mind if I ask if you ever solved your problem? I'm in the same boat with GC plates on top of H&R sports with Koni yellows and the car just rubs over anything other than a very small bumps. I never measured the stocks and GC's but I think my easiest option is swapping the plates for the stock top hats with Dinan plates.
