I posted this elsewhere.

It's a well done chop but there is an over reliance on the M3 for looks.

Yes the M3 has led the direction of how M were going with their aeropackets but each M will be different in style and element.
The central intake should be more Trapezoid in shape like a diamond with the shorter edges at the bottom and the longer edges at the top.

The headlights follow the typical M formula that if you look at the current M cars and their street counterparts from M3 , M5 and M6 you can see they have faired in headlights with the "eyebags" being part of the front facia. This gives the 1 a more deeper aggressive face. The front wings are of course wider and constructed from reinforced thermo plastic, there is a good indication here to see how the wings will form with the extension of the track. The bonnet bulge and air scoops are not here.

The mirrors are similar to the M3 in shape, The side scoop is actuall longer (height wise) but does not run the length of the front wheel arch.

The conventional M side scoop with the bar incorporating insignia and indicator at the top . The side skirts protrude with more sculpture and the rear arches complement the reinforced thermoplastic bootlid. They are wider due to the accomodation of the rear track , the arches are not as wide as seen in the fake arch. The overall look is something similar to the E46 M3 fluid , muscular and discreet about it's intentions.

Work from the AutoZeitung image to get an imprint of the actual car.

Looks awesome. Maybe we can get a blend of this and Autozeitung's with the hood power-buldge. Should end up with an awesome looking rendering.

Sorry for only replying now, most parts were nicked off of the latest M3 (front bumper, wheels, sideskirts and mirrors).

Very little were brushed from scratch.

Starting to come alive... all you need now is the power dome hood with vents and a trapezoidal air dam instead of the ///M3 one. That will be about 90% based on what we know.

it is so hard to get your hand between all of the spokes....

These wheels are all pretty close to the E46 M3 CSL wheels, at least to me...

I had a pretty good system, I used 2 different sized brushes and a small rag. A lot of work, but I LOVED those wheels... the best part of the car (cosmetically speaking)

Hey Kooper -

Really liked what you did with the rendering. Let me ask a dumb question - what application did you use to make the change? I'm total noob and would like to give it a try.

thanks,
