Stiff coilovers needed!!!(:

I need the stiffest coilovers available for my car any ideas/suggestions that'll direct me to the correct coilovers would be greatly appreciated!

You didn't state your budget, so time to go hog wild. Go custom. Call Koni and have them build and valve a set of heavy duty shocks, 8611 in front and 8041 in the rear, or something comparable. Make sure that Koni knows that the fronts need to the threaded for a coilover style setup. Call HPA, order the heaviest Swift springs that your organs can handle, and buy rear ride height adjusters. How much do you hate your spouse? If the answer is "A lot" then go 1000# spring rates, your marriage might not be able to handle it, but those Koni's sure will.

Sorry to hijack this thread but I discovered something really interesting:

Upper left hand corner of the 1Addicts browser window
Click on your user name
Choose “Settings” from the popup window
From the Control Panel on the left select “Edit Ignore List”
Type “greg135is” into the window and select “Okay”
Select “Save Changes”

Assuming this is not a troll, I'll note that stiffer springs provide less grip. The racing rule is to use the softest springs that will keep the car from bottoming too much.

Ehhhhhhh.

Too broad of a statement.

Springs need to be matched with the tire to provide the most effective use of that tires grip. Trying to match a spring to a shock to make sure it doesn't bottom out really isn't the rule of thumb, though it needs to be considered.

If the OP is being serious then I'd look at the AST 5210 or Koni 28 series dampers in the bimmerworld clearance section. They're both race dampers set up to be run on slicks, so they'll probably run stiff as fuck!

I can set you up with a custom set of coilers with any spring rates of your choice.

May I ask why you want the stiffest coilovers possible?
