Looking into purchasing CPO 09 135i!

Hello All!

After lurking for a while on the boards, I finally registered! Chiming in from Northern California (NorCal)! I'm fortunate on getting started on my career, single, and seeking my first bmw. I have been seriously considering a CPO 09 135i w/ 40K mileage.

Any thoughts and considerations while negotiating vehicle pricing and finance options? Is asking $5,000 below invoice (or KBB value) a great way to start off or is that a slap in the face?? I compared prices with other dealerships and looked into cost of maintenance and insurance as well.

Only subtle intentions down the line, which include window tinting and debadging. No track use. I intend to keep the car garaged, with regular scheduled dealer maintenance, and hopefully limit my "spirited" driving.
