Dealer Reference in Calgary AB

Could anyone refer me a good dealer?
The SA I am dealing with is great, however he would not give me a deal.
So far, as per thread on the forum, I should get 6-7% discount easily.
But apparently not?! SA only suggested 3% and because I knew the invoice price, he gave me 3.5% before I left.

I would love to do business with this SA, however cash is King.
If any other SA can get me more discount, I will go to them.

Please refer me easy going dealer in Calgary area.
US members are saying their SAs are taking only $300 above invoice and still doing the business, but that is too much to ask in Canada I guess.

Any comment or help would be appreciated.

Have a good night~

No big deals ...

... I just ordered a 128i. After negotiating with three dealers, I got 6% off MSRP. I'm leasing so I didn't get the benefit of the $2,500 cash.

There is another Canadian thread (Prices Paid and Freebies) that you should look at; I think I did well considering what two other posters received recently.

You should go to The BMW Store in BC. They can give better deals in Vancouver area because both stealerships in Calgary are owned by the same person. Plus cars are generally more expensive in Alberta than anywhere else in Canada. Plus Vancouver area dealerships have higher volume of sales due to higher population. It's worth a try.

Garage List
In Calgary there are only 2 dealerships and they basically owned by the same person or group. Not too sure how much of a discount you can get, but i Prefered Crowfoot BMW Gallery a little bit more. You could try calling Edmonton as well.

I think the discount will depend on region. Montreal, for example, is, from what I have read, stingy. Toronto, yes, 6% easily at the moment from my recent experience. I am not sure about Calgary. See if the price you were quoted can be beaten by another dealership. It doesn't look like you will get the Toronto discount there, but maybe you will if you persist and make it clear that you are ready to buy now.

Thanks for many replies to my inquiry.
It seems really tougher to get 6% in Calgary area, however I would want to know what would be the best discount for market in these days.

PM me if you want to.
Lots of thanks!
