Motor oil expiry date?

Just found a stash of motor oil in my garage that I had bought some years back. Does anyone know whether motor oil has a use by date? It's mobil 1 fully synthetic (if it makes any difference)

Thought to use it on my next oil change for my other car

There was no expiry date on the bottles.

Just check it is LL04, LL01, or worst case at least LL98 approved. If it is none of those, might be best to take a wide berth from pouring it in the 135.

AFAIK motor oil does age, but not in the same way as used/contaminated motor oil does.

Cool thanks, I should have been clearer that I meant it for my Honda which will soon be replaced once my 135i arrives end of March...
