Need advice with my path to FBO ...

So I know what I want, relocate intakes, but I just don't know what goes with them.

Right now I just have the cheap charge pipe that uses the stock diverter valves. So I'll have to get a new CP aswell,,, really don't want psshhh sounds, is what it is though.
Anyways, I also have (yet to be installed) downpipes and an intercooler (5" stepped). And after watching a few videos it looks like the inlets are pretty involved install process and you have to remove the downpipes. So am I correct in that I may as well do everything at once to save time?

And is there anything I should be looking at with all this?
Purchase list:
relocate inlets
charge pipe with pssshhh device
?

You don't have to get a blow off valve. I'm assuming you're n54, so you could get the forge diverter valves with the cp of your choice.

When I had n54, I went with the evolution racewerks chargepipe and forge diverter valves since I didn't want the blow off sound.

Inlets are a more involved process and harder to reach since room is limited. I always recommend doing as many things as possible together to save money and time.

Another member with more experience installing relocated inlets might be able to chime in, but I believe you'll need to get the washer fluid reservoir relocation unit as well.

i have inlets. installed them myself. so let me ask you this.

Have your turbos been replaced? is the car still under warranty?

i would consider those 2 things before inlets. everything else is easily reversible. inlets require you to essentially cut off your rear inlet rendering it unusable so replacing it with a new stock one would probably be a royal pain if you decide to sell the car or go to the dealer for warranty work.

so i would basicly install everything else and rethink the inlet install unless you having turbos replaced or upgraded. just throw K&N filter in stock box.

I have an aftermarket warranty and am not worried about coverage. They rely on what the dealer tells them and the dealer has done me right so far.

well if your not worried then there are a few kits out there ranging from 300-1500$ i would look for one with the diesel coolant tank relocation kit. i think burger just made a chargepipe that works with that as well.

What mods do you currently have?

You can get an upgraded charge pipe that uses OE diverter valves, no need for the BOV

I plan on doing the relocate inlets.
So yes I could go the DV route, but space is very limited for them, and aesthetically I think it looks poor.

Right now mods are DP's, exhaust, charge pipe + stock DV's, intercooler, e-85 tune (21psi).
So inlets and a matching CP are all I have left. Then onto suspension.
