ASA AR1 black on TSM

Got my new wheels on and took a few pics today.

First just some wheel fitment shots. These are 17" ASA AR1 wheels with 225/45 Goodyear ResponseEdge tires. These were plug and play and I've had zero issues with them.

Nice wheels, any reason you went with 17's?

I bounced back and forth between 17 and 18 (It only would have been like $150 more) but in the end 17 just seemed a more practical choice. After all, I don't have the sports suspension and to go to 18's would be beyond what the suspension and brakes are designed for.

This would also be the same reasoning that got me a 128 instead of a 135. I guess it's just a personality thing?

Either way I'm very happy black/silver theme my car has now.

i also think that a silver/black accents paint theme looks good.

Quick update after driving on these tires for a month in rain, dry, and light snow I highly recommend them to anyone looking for some touring tires that (should) have a good life span.

Of course they don't deliver the same performance as high-performance tires would, but they also don't cost as much and will last longer.

For day-to-day semi-aggressive driving I've found they work quite well look really good on the car.
