another kidney grill thread, brutal.

I hate to add to the 43950 posts about these things but I have a legitimate question/concern.

I just recently purchased these grills from this forum, and I'm not quite sure whether or not the quality is acceptable, or if they will even fit. From a distance the grills looks great, but upon further inspection it is evident that the clips holding the cf housing to the flat black slats don't exactly fit. ( not the clips that actually snap into the frame of the car). There are about 12 of these clips, and on each grill 2-3 of them are not snapped in very easily. The two halves seem flush, but it is fairly easy to pull them apart. My concern is that this will affect fitment, or even cause the grills to fall out while underway. What do you all think? Should I send these back??

-I choose not to mention the seller/company
-Couldn't tell you how it'll look on the car or if it fits as the car is 3 days away from port (haha)

First off I would contact the place you purchased them from and see what they say. But try installing them and see how they look. If it is only 2-3 out of 12 clips you should not have a problem with them falling off. If they fit well and you are happy, put a drop of crazy glue on the ones that are not tight and that should do the trick.

you wont see these clips once installed but if you just purchased them I would contact the seller and request a new set or a discount on the set you have if you are worried about it.

Good lord, it better fit perfect if I paid good money for them. I would definitely be upset and I would demand another set. Krazy glue on my Bimmer? haha

I will take those if you want to sell them. I will even swap a brand new set of matte black plus cash if you are interested. Great quality. All clips meet up.

PM me if interested.
