Evolve offers it as a tune option on the e46. I bet they'd be willing to do it on the n52 if requested.

I don't know if the stock 128i is similar, but my AA tuned car gives some very nice pops when coming off the gas.

Honestly I think it's an I6 thing. Even my N55 pops and bangs when i decelerate. Also has a nice pop when I shift at redline! The N52 will headers and a good exhaust is just about as sweet a sound as any I6 has ever made.

Just buy a srt 4 and throw a downpipe and exhaust lol automatic pops ..... Haha I'm joking done but a srt4 worse car ever made IMO

I can't wait to mount my headers! My mini has no cat, no res, and modified headers, bigger engine head, etc and that thing is loud! And i literally go Goose hunting with the Mini! But.... To much for daily driver....
