rpm's stuck

I dont know how to describe it but I floored it today in sports mode and when I left of the gas the engine stayed reved up on the rpms and slowly came down. Does anyone know what may have happened.

Am i missing something here? what is sports mode? DSC? DTC? you mean?
Maybe you hit rev limiter and computer took over and slowly let teh rpms down ?
Sports mode.. wonder if i been driving mine in regular mode now. :P

Thats how sport mode works, it was waiting to see if you were going to punch it again before it upshifts... normal.

When you floor it and take your foot of the gas it holds the gear for you incase you hit the gas again. Yepp very normal.
