I believe there are some 1addicts who have taken ED delivery already. There's also stories of some dealers not doing ED. |

i guess maybe i was not clear in my question.
When can we expect to get ED at ED pricing discounted vs. MSRP. since the allocation comes from the dealer they are not playing nice where as with 335i they will do 900-1000$ above ED invoice. |

Probably around the same time you will be able to find dealers selling 1's at the same discount off the lot.

Dealers probably won't be very willing to "play nice" on 1er ED pricing until they get actual ED allocations. Right now every 1er they sell comes from their regular allocation, whether it's U.S. delivery or ED. So, they have no more incentive to discount the ED MSRP than they do to discount U.S. MSRP.
3ers (and others) that are ED do not come out of dealer allocation, so they have more incentive to discount, because it's an opportunity to sell an "extra" car that doesn't impact their opportunity to sell every car they are allotted. |

I really think that it could be a year from now before that happens but it is really hard to say.

When I was putting the deposit down on my car I asked the dealer about this. I brought up the subject of ED and asked "Now that means I get a discount right?" He checked a piece of paper real quick then said "You're looking at a discount of about $2,400." Now, I don't know if he knew about the allocation thing or not. Either way I intend to hold him to his word. If not, I'll just have to place a new order at a different dealer lol

I've gotten my production number confirmed, my date confirmed, and I got the ED price. It's on a thread I started about a month ago.
Check out the link to my order sheet I posted http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showp...1&postcount=17

Hey OP!
I noticed you're in Herndon! Go talk to James Duerbeck at BMW of Fairfax, he'll hook you up. He handles most of the ED orders there. He's a really cool guy, very into moding. He's trading in his ///M Coupe for a 135i and is planning on installing a Proceed. Tell him Bobby sent you!

Some dealers will charge you full MSRP for ED. Some will honor ED MSRP...very few right now are willing to discount it...I was able to score $1k over ED invoice...so shop around and be aggressive - don't cave until someone discounts you!

When I was shopping around in the Southeast there are several dealers offering ED MSRP and even $500 below ED MSRP. ED pricing is definitely out there.

Just ED Invoice price + $1k dealer profit + options @ ED invoice pricing + delivery charge, then of course + state tax and dmv. Ii haven't even signed the sales order yet, but I have my cc# on hold till the factory confirms my order. Sometime next week I'll know if theres and doc fees etc on top of this. When I call the 800# - Your vehicle is scheduled for production, but no production date assigned yet.

Wicked 1044: See my post
http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showthread.php?t=6283 I am in NYC and about 2 weeks ago I ordered an euro delivery 128 below euro msrp. I was quoted right from the beginning a price nicely discounted below euro MSRP. I liked it right a way and had no need to ask for a lower price. Also I got a production number a couple of days later and have already received confirmation from BMW as well as some brochures and a BMW travel clock in the mail. AND I received also the pick up time for my car in Munich up to the minute!!!!! (11:10 AM. Not 11 nor 11:15; but 11:10 precisely!!!!!) and the delivery is still 3 months away in July when I'm in Europe every summer. Too much German precision, or what? |
