be careful, its cold up there and you always run the possibility of it being damp. A damp cold track is a dangerous thing so if you're gonna drive it wait for the sun to be out for at least an hour.

wait for it to warm up, sound advice....if your renting a car there is a good chance your contract excludes usage on the ring (ie Europe car, & Enterprise).

Have fun

And if you dont feel like paying for a car or driving yourself (although you won't regret it) you can always ask for a ride with any car going out. It doesn't cost extra to have a passenger. To be safe, find an old German guy. They know the track and car best.

So true. If you are doing it yourself, be very careful as JK said, a damp and cold track is a dangerous one.

How long are you here for?

Well it ended up being a perfect day. There was NO ONE on the track, and it was beautiful out. Took my rental car around once.....sigh citroen C4....but got a ride in a prepped mini cooper S JCW and I got two laps in that. Was well worth the trip!
