Very nice! What size tires are you wanting to run with those wheels? The offsets seem pretty aggressive so I'd be worried that you'll rub even with stock size tires.

Also, I think the 1M hood is the same as the 135i hood. Do you mean a M3-style hood with the bulge?

and for some reason on my car they looked like this haha..

what a fail lol

Nice build man! I can tell you for a fact that you'll rub with that wheel/tire setup though. I'm running stock size tires on Avant Garde M310 Wheels 18x8 ET 35 front 18x9 ET 38 rear with about -2 all around and I rub.

Also for the Angel Eyes get these:

The guy that has the blue car he says his car doesn't rub at all :

I'm thinking of camber all 4 corners maybe -2.5 maybe

Also fender rolling Relocating tabs if there needs to
Try to get as much clearance ass possible

I'm still thinking about it tho because I also want some pretty good meat on the tires so when I go to the canyons

Hey man thanks on the angel eye bulbs lol

Do those flicker when you turn on the car or get error codes

-2.5 in the front is fine but running much more than -2 in the back will just lose traction. The coilovers will help enough that -2 in the back would be good, and -2.5 in the front will give you great turn-in but stability will not be as good. So be careful on those long straights haha. I'm running about -1.5 in the front with -2 in the back and it's not bad at all. Slightly lowered with BMW perf springs (40% stiffer than M-sport) and it feels awesome now. With that setup your front won't rub but I bet the back will on the bigger bumps or with the trunk loaded, I guess it depends what springrate you set too, I'm at 550lbs in the back IIRC. It's not the fender that it rubs, it's actually the inner liner.

The bulbs are sweet, no codes but they do "self-test" occasionally and you'll see them "blink". But it's super rare, I've had them for months and only seen it happen twice, and I find myself hunting reflections in peoples cars to check on them lol. Regardless though the $40 price point over the insane $150+ for others was very well worth it.

I forgot the exact one, but the ZIZA angel eyes from ECS were perfect and never gave me any issues. Only reason I got rid of them is because I missed the yellow look lol. Ran the ZIZA’s for over a year and a half with no issues

and ok I see so the inner tire is what will rub

I'm actually gonna think about the wheels specs then because I want a pretty meaty tire to track every now and then

If I remember right, they were around $90, could be wrong

Not cheap, but they were quality and had ballasts. Last thing I wanted to do was eff up our expensive ass headlights

If you're getting the ARC8s, get the 1-Series specific offset.
I'm running the ARC8s in 18x8.5+45 in the fronts and the 18x9.5+62 in the rear.
Running Bridgestone Pole Position S04s 235/40/18s in the front, 265/35/18s in the rear.
Get a tiny bit of rubbing over big bumps in the front.

Yeah no worries man happy to help. I think I didn't explain the rubbing well; they rub on the wheel well liner just inside the fender, on the outside edge of the tire. The specific point is at "2 o'clock" if you're looking directly at the drivers side rear wheel. It's a few inches up the inside.

You definitely need good camber on these cars to get them to turn well, some of the track nuts do -3 and above. But you'll kill your tires with a setup like that unless you're tracking every day. Also forgot to mention you will need camber plates for sure. Stock hats limit you to about -1.1 in the front. Rear you'll be fine out to your -2 target with coilovers.
