good deal?

I am looking to buy m3 rims but dont want to pay taht much money. I found 17" ones that will fit the Run Flats that came with my car (correct?) but am looking for 18s and i want a wider tire. How does this auction sound? will they fit? is 65% front and 90% rear a good deal?

Then you have 16"! So you need new tires anyway. I would go for 18".

If they are stock M3 rims with stock M3 tires, then they will fit on your car, but they will throw off your speedo and odometer by 2 to 3 mph.

Bascially, the tires you need on those rims are 225/40/R18 in the front and 255/35/R18 in the rear. Unfortunately, these tires (at least stock) are 225/45/R18 in the front and 255/40/R18 in the rear.

With that said, price wise, I think they are a good deal. Confirm with the seller that the are orginal rims (from factory) and not replicas. That is very important.

Also, they are chrome. Not sure if you want chrome rims or not, but I personally don't. I think that they are too much for a sophisticated car like the E90. If you drive a Caddy, chrome rims are OK, but not for the Ultimate Driving Machine

EDIT: I just re-read the auction and he doesn't have stock tires on them. Find out the offsets and I'll show you how to calculate if they will fit.

Hope this helps...

if he said it came off an m3 then they are oem and should fit e90 perfectly.
