New Tires Today!

I’ve been riding on 2 old, different Continentals out front, and old Nexens out back since picking the car up in Miami a few years ago. I’ve spent a lot of money sorting the 135 out and today I’m finally ready for a new set of Michelin Pilot Sport A/S 4 tires in the factory size.

Waiting inside Discount Tire as I write this; can’t wait to put it on the road!

Also, I just pulled it out of winter storage about 20 minutes ago!

I’m pretty sure I got a killer deal, $894.52 out the door! That included install, tire disposal, and tax.

I asked if they could match the Sam’s Club out the door price because Sam’s is back ordered on the front tires. Anyway, Discount Tire beat them by about $15!

I also work part time at our local BMW Dealer and with employee pricing, the service manager couldn’t touch that price.

By the way, they are letting me use that i5 M60 you see in the background for a few days, while they change the water pump on my wife’s 2015 SHO.

Awesome! New tire day is always the best. That i5 looks sweet. Just out of curiosity where abouts in Iowa are ya? I travel to Cedar Rapids multiple times a year for family.

I'm using those tires right now. They're great, but I might get something stickier for summer.

I’m not too worried about getting any stickier. This is just a sporty car for cruising with the family in, and for having fun driving to work in. After all, this is essentially the factory tire on new Corvettes. I’d say it has plenty of performance for all seasons

My experiences with Michelin tires doesn't match the enthusiasm of others. To each, his or her own.

Saddest driving day: Day that winter tires are 'on' for the season, tempered with the fun experienced during car control exercises on 'slippery' conditions.

Best driving day: 'Summer' tires go back on! That was last week!
