New 135i 2008 convertible owner
43,000 miles, part service history, last 2 owners serviced themselves.
Going to get it to a Bmw performance specialist for a check over for peace of mind. Any advice would be great. Will post a few pics ASAP. |

Not totally!
I'd look at getting your intakes blasted when you hit 50K. Have the previous owners taken off the runflats? You looking to tune?

I don't really get the whole 'stage 2' etc. If you get all your mods done and then get a custom map to take them into account, then that's job done isn't it? Good luck dude!

At 40k+ miles it could be. Worth checking the history. I had mine done in the inspection 2 service (the big one) just before I bought it. It's a beautifully designed engine but it does seem to have some gremlins!

No worries dude. Sounds like a good plan. I actually bought my car off a guy from Bucks! Small world☺. Budget around 300 for the walnut blast. It's a bit specialist and takes most of a day to do. BMW quoted me 700 quid! I thinks birds might do it and they're in Bucks too.

That's a long shot dude, but I like your enthusiasm There is a place in Bristol that does it. I actually went to Cardiff because the guy there gave me a substantial discount as I was the first 135i they had ever done. They are a Mini/ Saab specialist but do blasting for BMW's as well.
