Steering handling problem

I received My 325i with sport package last week, it has 180 mile on it now, but I am having a wired feeling with the steering: It is quiet hard to keep the car steady, for instance, if I remove my had of the steering for less than a second the car start slowly turning to the right or the left, plus even when I keep my hand on the steering, I feel some kind on counter force towered the left or the right I have to keep I min force to fight against the steering movement in order to keep the car going straight. I don’t think such a behavior is normal specially compared to my 2002 50000 mile E46 330xi. I checked the tiers pressures they seam correct to me 27.5 front and 33 rear. I will bring car back to the dealer but perhaps any of you guys has a clue ….

Thanks

there have been a couple members here with similar steering problems; after taking it to the dealer they informed us it was a broken pump or hose or something...

Also, if you have wide tires, the car will "track" the ruts in road. I find that the wider the tires, the worse this gets.

I felt the exact same thing. The car kind of goes with the grain in the road. Now I actually feel connected with the road and feel that my other car feels funny.

I'll be moving to 225s for winters all around.......it should be a little better and less tracking.

As described above the car just goes with the grain of the road, specifically with the sport package tires.

Are you having steering problems with your Active Steering? I thought that AS solved them. I´m ordering one E91 325i with Active Steering.
