No cruise control? Why is this a problem with flashes? I remember hearing Dinan's flash (and maybe GIAC?) also have this problem. Any ETA on when this will be fixed?

BMW not doing a complete search of the electronics on your car for a HPFP(thousands of them) doesnt impress me. Lets see how deep they look if you hole a piston or throw a rod.
Correct, I hope this did not come across as me trying to push my opinion on others. It was just my 2 cents on the current subject. If you certainly believe it is not worth the risk, then by all means, do what's comfortable for you.

Subbing for more questions answered. I'm planning on trading in my Mazdaspeed3 for a 135i later on this year.. I currently own the Cobb AP for the MS3 and I gotta say, couldn't be happier. One of the main reasons I've decided to buy a 135i instead of lease is the fact that Cobb released the AP for this platform.. Hopefully by then things like this cruise control issue will be ironed out..

Maybe.. Which would be awesome since Esc has a 2010 and that's the year I'm planning on getting.

Tried the CC on the way home tonight just to be sure I wasn't dreaming this morning, it works fine, I ran through all CC functions and no issues. Mines a 2010 MSport with MT, I had the latest BMW ECU updated performed 11/2010.

Hopefully the issue is limited.

I would even be happy with just an estimate of when they are expecting to have it done by....3,6,9 months?

This may be a "Search" fail. BUT-----

Is it necessary to have a BT tool, or will the AP allow me to see any codes that a BT tool would?

Thanks!
Scott

Not sure what the BT tool does but with the AP you can read in error codes and then clear them.
