I might just keep the car just because of the color. Pick up a 1er when she's paid off in 2010... /hijack

Simply spectacular! One of the best pictures I've seen.

Gill Awesome pic, absolutely love it. Just at the right time, as new pics keep coming out for the other colors and I question my decision, and you're right there to restore it with a Pic I haven't seen. Brilliant!

from another thread -- http://www.1addicts.com/forums/showt...t=2884&page=4:
to me, this angle, crop or whatever, is one of the meaner impresssions of the 1 i've yet seen. wish it could look like this more of the time but other pics over the months haven't, again to me. Many times the car had looked stodgy, petite, or cuter than the sleek performance tad of badass that I see here. I think this angle made the car look longer and maybe the roofline lower, the windshield looking like a sharper angle. |

but you're converting to USD. The USD has dropped for yrs against the Euro. It used to be around $6/gal. when the USD was less weak. And on a seperate note, 'they've' paid 'more' for gas for a while. We in USA are still not used to paying about 2x what we used to at our pumps just a few yrs ago... though the increased prices are not really coming from govt taxes etc. on the retail price, but from the oil companies asking for more. European prices at the pump sort of always had a larger percent of their cost per liter going to taxes I believe. My point for the US market is I won't mind the price increases, in fact obvously people outside USA would say Americans shouldn't be crying about our prices, but I do because the oil companies have increased prices riding on 'global demand' and their profits have ballooned. We're not really paying more due to more govt / regulatory taxes applied at the pump to our per gallon prices.

BMW Welt in munich
I did Euro Delivery with a good friend back in April for his 335xci. BMW had perfect examples of many different cars out on the floor. If you ever get the chance to do ED, DO IT!! We had so much fun, despite $8.75/gallon gasoline. Here's the other photo I got of the 123d:
