Hi Matt,

Just wanted to reply here so everyone who has this question can see the answer! The trunklid is made by M0D Bargains. There is a 12-14 week wait on them right now and it ends up being around $900 after SH for a new one. The fitment is dead on perfect.

I attached another photo of the same trunk-lid on the members car who suggested I get it. While I do not have the exact weight, I can tell you it is around HALF of the weight of the OEM trunklid.

There is 3 people interested thus far, you are actually fairly local to me, so let me know if you do end up being interested as I would love to skip shipping it!

I just googled, but I don't want to confirm via google. I say you call the bmw dealer and see if its the same part for the oem trunk.

I know the trunks supposibly are a little diff.. cuz the cf spoilers for e82 most don't fit on e88.. they say the curvature is a lil diff.. but I don't see if I'm changing the whole trunk it would matter..
my concern is the retracting the roof into this trunk.. will it function..
idk.. its different if we found some documentation supporting it works.. I know I'm buying private seller but .. if mod barg says it works then I'm sold u know..
