Bmw 1m mhd ots tune
I flashed my bmw with the mhd stg2+ ron95 tune.
Bmw 1m, 22.000km, intercooler, exhaust, downpipes and charge pipe. I have timing corrections in combination with throttle corrections just after i hit the pedal to start a log or after a shift.. Always use ron 98 fuel. I tryed ron 100 fuel and installed new ngk spark plugs, no solution. Is it possible that i have timing corrections because the overboost? http://www.datazap.me/u/nick/stg2-91...-9-10-11-21-24 |

Timing corrections can be seen on a simulated stock tune also, especially part throttle.
I found no difference using stage 1 or stage 2 cobb maps, and was also running better fuel than the map called for. I eventually went with a custom tune, and even with that there are occasionally timing corrections which I have been reassured are a normal part of the DME's elaborate timing control. Excellent write-up from Pro-Tuning Freaks: https://blog.protuningfreaks.com/201...eliable-power/
