my dealership is pretty sure about the price, the base 330i is 49500 CDN and the 335i is going to be 52000 or so.... as they say plus nav, sport and premium package will get me to almost 60 CDN

I probably should have waited. At that point, I could have saved up a few more bucks and ordered a 330i with all the same options and the navigation that I am now kicking myself for not getting.

Coud have, should have, would have... Oh well... I own a specacular car.

Hey bavarian, do you regret getting the Monaco over Mystic? Is Monaco as dark and practically black as the pictures seem to indicate?

I wanted mystic but it's not even available for the E92, so now I'm not sure what I'm going to do.

I think the only option for the e92 335 is a 2+2 coupe (4 seater). Please correct me if I'm wrong.

Congrats on the purchase. I'm also in Canada (Alberta) and am going in later this week to either put down a deposit or try and bargin for a price on a 335i coupe with lthr seats and sportspkg. Likely Space grey with coral red interior or black sapphire with coral red.

If you go to this site http://www.bmw.com/com/en/index_highend.html
they updated more info and under "development" there is a pic showing the red leather color, looks good! You can also configure the car and see all the wheels and exterior colors except they don't have the new blue, red or bronze colors up there yet.

Did your dealer think that cold weather package will be standard as it is with the e90 in canada (heated seats, headlight cleaning system)?

Also as far as pricing goes this 58-60K sounds about right with all the options because in Canada base 330i is 47900 and with both prem and sports pkg it is 56K so only 2-4K premium for coupe and new engine is pretty sweet making US price probalby starting at around 40K not 45-47K as some seem to think.

I did a quick config of e90 330xi with all packages comes to 60,400can and similarly equiped in US is 43,620 so I'd say if the ontario dealer is close to guesing right then people in US should get 335i for a decent price. Wish I could buy from US and import with our great xchange rate right now!

wonder why bmw has gone for 4 seater standard spec. even CLK and 6 series have 5 seater capacity. may put off people with families and kids who only need 1 car. A tactical, silly move, BMW.

The CLK doesn’t come in a 4 door so they need to remain conservative. My view: It’s a coupe... practicality be dammed. Coupe buyers want to feel special and buy for the cool factor. If somone needs to be practical they can buy the equally sporty sedan.

Does any one know if the dealers in CA mark up the price of the newer cars?

Congrats on the order and don't worry too much about not seeing it. I never saw my color until I went to sign the paperwork.

Besides, it's a BMW and that's all that really counts.

Check out the Montego Blue thread in the Pictures Forum. It's very nice too.

And even then the US gets a significantly lower MSRP compared to Canada even after exchange rates are factored in. And generally, the US can get a much lower price from MSRP when in Canada, you can only get $1000 or so. (I got $800 off MSRP for my E90)
True, it seems to be harder to get "invoice plus" type deals in Canada.

However, looking at the base price of the cars doesn't always give the true picture. The 325i in Canada comes standard with equipment that is optional and adds to the price in the US (i.e. xenons).
