I have the same one. Looks like crap but beats tickets and holes in your bumper. Be careful if you ever take it to a carwash as the plate can bend and scratch the bumper. Nice looking car.

Learned this lesson the hard way. I cut my plate down a little bit so it doesn't extend over the edges...oh, and only wash my car by hand now. Better for both car and plate!

LOL, no worries here, my 1 never goes through any automated car wash.
It's always hand washed by me. ;-)

OK, sorry, I thought you had made it yourself. I have seen these mentioned here before, but $50-60 seems a little crazy to me. I haven't received a no-front-plate ticket myself (haven't even got my plates yet), but CA is looking for every excuse to squeeze cash out of people these days.

If I get one, I'll probably just fabricate something along these lines myself. Seems fairly simple if you don't have to worry about fitting 75 different cars, and you can even bring the two hook into the hardware store to test fit...

an alternative that i've used is a good double sided tape. just bend the plate a little to the shape of the bumper and it holds up very well. tape i've used is a 3m outdoor tape, and is removable without leaving any marks.

Do not like how it disrupts the airflow going into the passenger side vent, where the oil cooler is. Dbl stick tape seems like a better method, if you have to have a front plate.

no bumper holes +1, very tacky off centered look -1. I say either no front plate or just do the regular mount.

I bought a bracket from Skene Design. The plate goes in the normal location, but the mounting bracket holes are under the lip of the bumper. If you take it off there are no holes visible.

I think it looks good. I have the gominigo, and get more compliments and looks at my front plate than any other part of the car. Mine is raised a little higher to block less of the air intakes, and I think it looks very clean. I love the side plate!

Just beware that if someone backs into you, it will bend and put holes in the bumper from the bolts...or maybe its just me since I park on the street in NYC! Overall, I say its better than a front, its unique, doesn't block the intercooler, and its legal!

It's better than putting holes in the bumper or getting a ticket.
