Unhappy RIP another 1er (bad driver)

Yet another BMW 1er went to heaven. Irresponsible young driver tried to be cool and was driving ridiculously fast on tight road. According to local news: https://www.novinky.cz/krimi/428860-...ic-zemrel.html

"The car was torn to pieces."
"... engine ended up dozens of meters away from the car ..."
"... speedometer needle was stuck at the time of the accident on the limiter of 250 km/h (155 MPH)"

Please drive safe and don't play with your life... you only have one...
RIP for car (and honest condolences to the driver's family)

Wow that engine/tranny really came out as a nice package.

I'm sorry if the person lost their life, but 155mph in cold snowy conditions is like playing Russian roulette.

- Also turning the contrast/brightness up on the first pic seems to show that they were on summer tires.

It almost looks like someone just purposely took out the engine / dash and just placed it on the ground haha. But seriously, how does a engine/tranny just pop out like that??

Step 1: be idiot
Step 2: drive 155 mph on a slippery narrow road with trees and poles on the side of the road
Step 3: suddenly or deliberately lose control of the car
Step 4: find a particular couple of trees
Step 5: ???
Step 6: CRASH AND DIE!!!

Honestly terrible, I feel so bad for the family. I think back on some of the risks I've taken and I don't think I ever did anything this wreckless. I'd say my dumbest would be weaving in traffic on a Kawasaki Ninja, I cringe at the stupidity of that now.

That's rather interesting, is that a feature??? I didn't think the needles would hold a position unless the servo was receiving a current.

I'd say worse odds even, with RR you're at least looking at 1:8 or 1:6 at worst. Driving at 155 with summer tires in snowy wet weather on tight roads seems a lot worse than that

oK there's some on here that would have seen that carnage and their first action would have been to get a couple friends, a truck, and take that engine...
