Week 22 Support Group

I will go ahead and start it off.

Our group will go into production between 5/25-5/31!

I can't wait, config is listed below. Still haven't decided if I will be doing the PDC just depends if it will delay my delivery.

Placed my order @ Fields BMW in Lakeland.

I'm week 22 as well and also considering PDC, but it depends on the available dates and more specifically, how much it would delay me getting the car!

Yeah I really need to make up my mind on my colors, both interior and exterior. What do you think? Nice Combo?

I went and saw the SGM and I like it and its my second choice right now but I did want to save a little on the costs, plus white isn't a bad color at all on this vehicle. It really shows the lines of the car.

I think that will work... My second choice for the exterior would be Montego Blue. I'm not sure I could do both that and Lemon, though.

All right, I found out I'm not getting a production number until week 22, so I'm going to have to wait even longer to actually enter production. I guess I should have drove to Lakeland or something. Here's hoping the rates don't do anything crazy in the interim.

Well it seems having a production number is pointless for our batch of numbers that we have. They all seem to display 04 X5's. The BMW 800 # said this is normal, that they reuse the production numbers. I'm hoping it will update sometime soon, I check it daily. I don't quite understand why they didn't give you a production number yet... They had my name on a priority 1 order # before even placed a deposit. and that was back on 5/3.

My production number is finally showing up in the BMW OC. It doesn't display my options though. Is this normal?

nevermind i caught it while it was being updated. I refreshed and it then had all my options . Makes my ordered car seem more real now. This wait is going to kill me!

Still no production date for mine. 2+ weeks with basically no news (except that it slipped from week 21 to 22) SUCKS!

Looks like I'm moving out of the own thread I started, my vehicle went into production the 16th making it a week 20 Build. Sorry guys! Good Luck to you all.

Well my CA just told me my car "went 150 status" today, i.e. - into production. Still nothing on the website though. We're in week 21 though, aren't we? :iono:

Well I just talked to someone else at BMW Customer Care, he said I am still at week 22 that my sub parts are just being prepared to ensure my car is built in a timely matter. The girl this morning said my car would be finished this week! BLAH who knows, I'm waiting for my CA to email me back to see what he sees on his end.

Hrmm you and I might be in the same boat so-to-speak. My tracking page is now updated, which is cool. I called the 800 # and got an update from the computer which said it was scheduled to be completed on May 26. I thought the week # was the week your car started production, but maybe it's the week that it's completed?

Well the automated system still says my vehicle will be completed on Friday 5/23 so I trust it.

Also, isn't it annoying that even after you upload a photo of your car, it doesn't use it on the tracking page?

yes mine no longer shows the options. my production is slated to finished today. only time will tell.

Scheduled to be built by May 28! I heard that it takes only a week to build (week=5 day work week), but mine started production on May 19, so it seems to be taking longer than usual? I heard there is a boat coming in on May 27, so it doesn't look like I'll make that one ...but another is coming in on June 3, so I guess that's not too bad. I just want it NOW!!!
