Radio stuck in AUX mode
Every so often I get in the car and turn on the radio only to find out it's stuck in.
No sound, no nothing. Can't change to any other mode. After shutting down the car for 5-10 minutes it comes back ok. Any one else experience this. I couldn't find any info when I searched. |

That happened to me twice last week. I even made a dealer appointment the first time it happened, but it started working again 15 minutes later. Then it happened again the next day, but it started working again after the next start. It's worked fine ever since. If it happens again and stays broken, I'll make another dealer appt.

There's supposed to be a software update to fix this. Take it to the dealer they have heard of this or in my case mine did and updated my software, I had it do it to me every couple of months and it would normally go away apon restarting the engine but since the update no problems.

This exact thing happened to me. Hopefully the radio will work tomorrow. I started the car and no sound. I was using Aux as its set to my Bluetooth. I tried to change to CD or Radio and the screen would flicker and divert back to AUX almost immediately. Will try the seat-belt trick..
Anyone else deal with this? |

Pretty sure you need the software update.
Did you try to reset your Idrive?
