No I hear you. I have seen a few older folks, hey even us enthusiast get older, driving mostly 128's. Not sure I'd make the correlation that it's an easier car for older drivers, the 1 series is just a nice car for anybody. But it is great seeing the look on some kid in a rice burner with a loud muffler and a go-fast wing, when he can't figure out why he can't keep up this gray haired bald guy. And to the OP's question, not seeing more 1's anymore. Honestly starting to see a lot of 2's. |

only goes back to 2010 and the early 2014 numbers shown are likely a blend of 1 and 2 series |

If an older driver is choosing among cars like the Corvette, Nissan Z, Boxster/Cayman, Z4 etc, the 1 is an easier car to get in, with a nicer ride. |

I really don't see many at all around my area here in NC. I've seen a couple down by the colleges, but that's about it.
I did, for the first time ever, see another Sedona Red 135i out in hillbilly land this morning though. It made me smile. I've never actually seen one on the road, and I think the color really shines under the sun. |

Well... it was fortunate for me haha. When I bought mine it was 3.5 years old and had 9,000 miles on it

Well, they only sold just over 60 thousand total in the U.S. Over its run. So just not that many unlike the 3 and 5. I am glad they are not everywhere.

I see lots of 3s and 5s in my neighborhood. There are two 5ers on my short little cul-de-sac alone. I've got the only 1er in the neighborhood. I like it that way. People commonly ask me what it is and I love to talk about it. Bad-ass, cool, awesome, unique, are some of the adjectives I hear. Please, just don't call it cute.

Come on guys, there are just more of them on the road be because more have been built. Makes sense to me that the likelihood of seeing a 1 series on the road in 2015 is greater than say 2010 or 2011: the 2008-2009's are still around plus all the cars manufactured and sold in the 2010-2013's.
