Who is already thinking about trading their 330i for a 335i
Call me crazy, but I am already thinking about trading my 330i ZSP, ZPP with only 2K miles for a 335i once it becomes available to order. I need to make a decision on this because I have an OEM spoiler, an OEM alarm, and a set of aftermarket wheels ready and waiting to be installed on my vehicle. I have also been itching to order the Eisenman exhaust since that video was posted. But with all of the talk of the 335i, I am hesitating to install them and am leaning towards saving the parts for the 335i.
Who has had similar thoughts and are you going to do it? I know I'm going to take an $8K-$10K hit on the trade-in but I think that I may not be able to stand not having the faster 335i (plus, even though it may be a small thing, I can order the car with comfort access :rocks: ). |

If I'm gonna pay more for a 335i, I think I'll aim for a entry level mercedes-benz clk instead. |

The 330 was more than enough when you bought it... trading it in now will cost you Thousands of $$$... for another 50hp... no way. You already paid $$$ for 40hp over the 325. Wait a few years. Or if you're the type who always needs the latest/greatest, you should lease so you get a new ride every 2 or three years.

thought about it a long time ago. THen decided it's not worth it. If I trade it in I will lose $10k AND have to put in more money for the 335 just for some more HP. 330 is more than enough for me.

Heh this is the exact reason why i'm waiting for the 335i now. my old car was an RSX base model, and i ALWAYS regretted not getting the Type S a month or so after purchase. gyahhh i hate not being contempt with my purchases, especially an automobile because I'll be driving that car for at least the next 3 years. the extra $$$ i'm saving up now can be put towards some mods later

After driving it on the A-bahn and now here, the 330's power is already wasted here in the US. No need to take a bath and get more HPs.

I love my 330i and won't trade it for any 335i or whatever ... If somebody wants to change car every year all power to you.

wow...I'd only do that if money was no issue to me.
It's certainly not an intelligent financial decision. But again, if money isn't an issue, then there's no need to make intelligent financial decisions. Of course...then you should wait for the M3! |
