RB turbo upgrades
Hey Guys
I’m doing a set of RB Turbos on my 135, and want others 2 cents on what other upgrades I should do at the same time. I’m currently Cobb Stage 2+ with FMIC. I have heard RB inlets, and stage 2 LPFP, but is there anything else? Thanks in advance. Also if this has been addressed elsewhere please direct me there |

inlets, outlets and downpipes. then start looking at replacing the stock diverter valves.
if your car is 09 or later you will need a new charge pipe (mine blew on stock boost). should be ok without inlets/outlets if sticking on pump fuel. e85 you want upgraded fueling PI or shotgun as well as inlets and outlets |

We do recommend RB plumbing products as a premier selection to compliment our turbos (or really any others for that matter), and since we offer them as packages with our turbo purchases it really makes it an easy decision to keep a matching kit. Feel free to email us for any additional details, pricing, etc.
We also have outlets in the pipeline, but we have about 15-30 days before they are in production. Once in production they too will be offered as part of a package. Rob |

I'm a noob to forced induction. Can someone explain to me the inlet/outlet thing? I assume it's the piping into/out of the intercooler?
What benefits do upgraded inlets have? Is it just a matter of increased air flow? |

Outlets can be a post turbo plumbing restriction. This too can affect efficiency of the turbo, but are much less important especially on OEM turbos. As such outlets are something I'd not concern myself with on OEM turbos at all, and moreso only upgraded units. Unfortunately all current outlets seem to have several fitment, durability, and design issues; so they seem to be more trouble than the value added. Maybe best to leave them alone until something better pops up in the future. Rob |

Now that I have the car back and its running well, how much boost are people running with these? What should I be aware of and look out for, if I crank these bad boys up?

If you want a nice set of inlets, look into Precision Raceworks.
