LOL your dealership doesn't have to explain how to run the car upon delivery since you already know

Well the dealership had no issue when I told them that the Training fee was excluded from ED, is the same true for the MACO fee they are telling me is $250?

Thanks again guys

Hi guys i'm looking to get a new 135i through ED and I have a few questions. About how much is the ticket through Lufthansa? And how much are the hotels that they provide in the bmw website? Also will I have to order soon to get the 09 1er with ED. And if it's too late when will the 2010 1's be out and what kind of price increases am I looking at? Thanks a lot!

I got an offer to my current car and ready to order.
I am looking for 2010 prices/options. When are those supposed to come out (at least the details)? Someone said mid-July.. Can anyone confirm?

Ready to pull the trigger on 2010 135.
What document and other fees dealers charge for ED?
I saw 2 fees, $199 and $320, I am sure one of them is totally bogus and pure dealer mark up.
I am in NJ and I think DMV fees are: $85 for title with Lien, $59 for registration and not sure about new plates fees.

They say there are no dumb questions, so... I have yet to read anywhere, be it Mercedes benz, or BMW, if the buyer must arrange and pay for the trip to Europe to purchase a european delivery car. Thinking about moving from an Audi to a BMW 1 series. Looking at the coupe, would I regret it if I got the 128i instead of the 135i? How much firmer a ride is the 135, as a daily driver? Another concern is the run flat tires. They say that they are useless in cold weather, I'm in Nova Scotia canada, and wonder if the dealer would swap them out for performance all seasons, but on tire rack, there are not many optiions for the sizes the car takes. Anyone from Canada know if the dealers are lowering prices below MRSP? Thanks for any help I can get, and very interesting reading so far.

get 135 if your funds allow.
135 with full winter tires and proper driver with proper attitude will do fine in the winter in Nova Scotia.

Hey, enjoy the euro delivery!! I did mine back in October 2009 and spent two weeks on the road with my 135. First time back in Germany and Austria since 1989 and loved every moment of it, putting about 2000 miles on the car. Have fun, enjoy the beautiful spring weather and break it in well on the autobahn and autostrada!

Currently planning my ED trip for August (I know, I know, EVERYONE in Europe is on vacation then). But I'm having trouble deciding between zooming around the Alps via Liechtenstein and Switzerland or heading to Berlin and/or Amsterdam.

Any suggestions from the ED-ers out there?

Once you see the Alps you will never forget them.

And once you get up into their midst, such as in Berchtesgaden, you will never want to leave them.

What are you bumping? This thread isn't going anywhere.

I recommend those of you doing ED start making friends on the European thread. Also, consider to do parts shopping over there for items you might wish to mod with later that you can only purchase over there.

On a personal recommendation, if you're buying a 6MT and do plan on eventually getting a SSK, then I suggest you plan it out with a local BMW shop to get the perf SSK installed asap and might as well include the fog light switch as well, both will help you enjoy driving around Europe a bit more.

Also, please remember not to drive over there like a dumb ass on the left lane thinking it's all yours. Use it to pass and then move over to the right lane.

Looking to ED 2012 135 DTC. Why is it so dead in here? Any leads on prices and options?
Wow, the 335 thread was on fire when I ED, my 335i. What a contrast!
